A Trio of Tenderness

Joden Girl

Baubles, Bling, and Romantic Things

It’s already the second Friday in January…  the month is flying by.  Temperatures have dropped below freezing; for the first time, it actually feels like winter.  Days like this make me want to snuggle back down under the covers and stay in bed all day!

What better way to warm up the day than with a bit of high karat gold?  This beautiful Art Nouveau bracelet is a ray of sunshine on an otherwise dreary morning.  The piece appears quite simple at first glance, however, close inspection reveals the true beauty in each golden link.  Made at the end of the 19th century, this bracelet features a trio of hearts made in classic Repoussé style (three dimensional design work that is achieved by raising the gold from the back side).  It creates a gorgeous high relief look.  Two rows of interlocking rings pass through the center of the largest heart.  Every loop has been handcrafted, with an outer and an inner ring, providing the strength needed to wear this bracelet every day.

This second pictures shows the bracelet stretched out to it’s full glory – just the way it would look on the wrist.  It’s available in our showroom now, priced at $1,900.00 – just in time for Valentine’s Day!

For the Queen of Your Heart

Joden Girl

 Baubles, Bling, and Valentine Things

It seems like we have no more than packed up our Christmas decorations before Valentine’s Day is upon us.  The Christmas clearance items are on the shelves right beside the boxes of children’s Valentine cards.  For me, it’s exciting!  Valentine’s Day has always been my favorite holiday – I love the sentimentality of it.  And from everything that I’ve been reading, most of you feel the same way.  Ladies aren’t expecting expensive gifts, they are hoping for a meaningful gift.

Last year, the average amount spent on Valentine’s Day rang in at just under $150.00…  unfortunately, in today’s world, $150 doesn’t buy all that much.  Here’s where Joden comes in.  One of the things that a lot of people don’t know about us is that we truly have something for everyone.  We have a lot of really great pieces that cost less than $100.

This photo is just one small example of what’s available at Joden.  The four rings pictured here range from $50-$150.00.  We also have countless pendants, earrings, and bracelets available in the same range.  So, if you’re looking for a Valentine’s Gift that will outlast the candy and flowers but won’t break the bank – come to Joden.

For those of you who are looking to spend a little more, we have that too.  We recently bought a couple items that are absolutely perfect for Valentine’s Day or any day.  What better way to tell her she’s the Queen of your heart than with this beautiful crown ring from Garrard?

This unique eternity ring is constructed from 18 karat white gold.  The intricate design is interspersed with tiny round melee diamonds and each point is crowned with a brilliant blue sapphire.  Priced at just under $3000, it’s fit for royalty.

I fell in love with these charming crown earrings the moment I saw them.  Each pair is made in 14 karat white gold accented with diamonds.  The pair on the left have Tsavorite (green) Garnet trim and the pair on the right  have Sapphire trim.  These beauties are priced at $900 a pair.  They give a fresh spin to ordinary diamond earrings.

The possibilities are endless.  With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, Joden is the place for you.

A Gift fit for a King

Joden Girl

Frankincense, Gold, and Myrhh

“When they saw the star, they rejoiced with great delight.  On coming to the house, they saw the Child with His mother Mary, and they fell down and worshipped Him.  Then they opened their treasures and presented Him with gifts of gold and frankincense and myrhh.”  Matthew 2:10-11

I cannot think of a better gift to end our series “The Twelve Gifts of Christmas” than a gift fit for a King…  gold.

For thousands of years, gold has been used to create beautiful baubles.  The attraction of it is undeniable…  the rich buttery color,  that high polish that is so alluring, and the feeling as it warms to your skin when draped around your neck.

Stacks of bangles, shiny hoops both small and large, chains of every variety from long to short, stylish link braclets, and of course, rings.  At Joden, the selection is dazzling.  And the price range is vast, truly something for everyone.

Each of these three pieces is available on our website, each one offers its own unique appeal, each one is a perfect Christmas gift.

First we have a lovely Retro brooch.  This authentic piece from the 1940’s is a distinctive swirl of 14 karat yellow and rose gold.  At just 1.25 inches, it is the perfect size for any lapel or collar.  It is available on our website now for only $325.00.

In the center, we have a 22 karat yellow gold vintage ring.  This charming heart-shaped ring is adorned with a delicate pattern of flowers and vines.  We all know how I feel about hearts, however, there is no denying that this ring is something quite special.  Check it out now on our website for just $640.00.

Finally, we have these awesome Victorian tassel earrings.  These statement earrings are amazing in the ear – the tassels move with you, creating a fantastic look.  They are also available on our website now – a steal at just $675.00.

Find each of these things and so much more in our showroom at Joden Jewelers.  This is our last night of holiday hours.  We will be open until 8pm tonight with select hours tomorrow.  As always, our website is available 24/7 with free overnight shipping.

Go to our site and look, then come to Joden and touch.

Merry Christmas from our house to yours.
