Pick of the Week – Volume Fifteen

Joden Girl

Baubles and Bling with Unbelievable Pricing

This sweet little number will steal your heart!  Bridging two periods, the Art Deco era and the cusp of Retro, this ring is absolute perfection from top to bottom.

Handmade entirely from platinum, this vintage beauty is in excellent condition.  A .22 carat transitional cut diamond is nestled within a square setting.  Small but mighty, the diamond hits the charts at an H color, VS1-2 in clarity.  With grading like that, this gem glitters from every angle.

Flanking the center stone are six single-cut diamonds.  These sparklers are hand-fitted in milgrain-edged settings that form an elegant triangle on each side.  The shank mimics a split design at the top of the shoulder and then comes together in a solid piece to form the band.

The low-profile style makes this ring extremely wearable.  I can see so many purposes for this tiny treasure…  an engagement ring or a promise ring.  It stacks beautifully but is also great on its own.  Gift it for graduation, Christmas, or for no reason at all.

Previously priced at $1500, this charmer is the Pick of the Week!  You might want to sit down for this – it’s now available for just $965.00!  Hop on over to our site and make it yours today.

Joe’s Special Box – Volume 27

Joden Girl

Baubles, Bling, and A Collector’s Things

Simply stunning.  This Art Deco beauty is everything you’ve ever wanted in a diamond ring.  Let’s start with that killer Old European Cut center stone…  weighing 1.55 carats, this gem was graded by the Gemological Institute of America.  The diamond is situated inside a unique style halo…

A circle of eight platinum tulip shapes form a one-of-a-kind frame, each flower set with a single-cut diamond.  Interspersed between the blossoms are millegrain edged bars that form the prongs of the ring.  Cascading down each shoulder are a series of three half-moon segments in decreasing sizes… also set with single-cut diamonds.  The culmination of these details is a 1920’s dream.

Vintage jewelry lovers everywhere will be swooning for this piece from Joe’s Special Box.  Priced at just over $13,000.00 – this is one ring you don’t want to miss.

The “B” Word

Joden Girl

Baubles, Bling and Financial Things

Let’s face it…  the “B” word – it’s the word that makes all girls cringe – BUDGET!  While it may be awkward to talk about, the budget is one of the most crucial pieces of information in the quest to find the ideal engagement ring.  Some girls are economical, frugal even…  others are definitely budget busters!  We have rings for both, and everyone in between.

Now let’s take a closer look at three of my favorites…

Made entirely of platinum, this sweet little beauty dates back to the end of the Art Deco period – 1940.  A .22 carat transitional cut round brilliant diamond is nestled in a classic square-cornered setting.  Additional vintage details include milgrain beaded edges, angular lines, and single-cut diamond trim.  Priced at just $1500, this one won’t break the bank!

For me, this one is all about that killer Old Mine Cut diamond in the center…  weighing in at 1.23 carats, it is simply stunning.  This diamond strikes the perfect balance of the four C’s  – that cushion cut, that beautiful white color, no visible imperfections, and it weighs just over one carat.  What more could a girl want?

This ring is like a darling little bow tied on top of your finger.  Handmade from 18 karat white gold, the loops of the bow curl around the delicate diamond trim.  The center is reminiscent of the first ring, with a .25 carat diamond set in a square-cornered design.  Also budget friendly (priced at $1400.00), it won’t last long.

One, two, even three months salary…  these can seem like very daunting numbers.  And yet, many experts recommend using these guidelines to determine your engagement ring budget.  Consider them exactly that – a guideline, a suggestion.  Whether your budget is $100 or $100,000 – your ring is at Joden Jewelers.  Come visit me…  you’ll see for yourself that the only thing greater than our selection is our customer service.
