Take Time to Smell the Roses…

Joden Girl

Baubles, Bling and Sparkly Things

“Stop and smell the roses”…  Isn’t that how the old saying goes?  Who wouldn’t take time for this beauty?  Like the petals of a flower, this ring has layers of rich detail…  each one more captivating than the last.

Let’s start with that cushion shaped halo…  arguably the most iconic element of engagement ring trends for more than five years running.  This particular one cradles a 1.75 carat diamond.  Laboratory graded as J-K in color, and VS in clarity, this stone hits the sweet spot where beauty and value come together.  The International Gemological Institute of America has appraised the ring at over $23,000.  Go to our site and check out the special pricing!  You won’t be disappointed, I promise!

The ring itself is made entirely of 18 karat rose gold…  the subtle pink tone of the metal highlights the eighty-eight fully faceted diamonds that are nestled into every nook and cranny.  These diamonds have a combined weight of .70 carats, bringing the total diamond weight of the ring to 2.45 carats!

My favorite element of the ring has to be the contrast of the round diamond center in the squarish halo.  It’s an unexpected twist that really works.  Modern style meets classic elegance!  As always…

Enchanting Engagements

Joden Girl

Baubles, Bling, and a Sparkly Ring

Jewelry trends and styles come and go with the seasons – usually that includes engagement rings.  However, halos have reigned supreme for the last ten years or more!  For those who don’t know, the halo design incorporates a tiny ring of diamonds that encircle the center stone.  It highlights the diamond and makes it look larger!

This stunning set just might be my favorite halo EVER!  The focal point of the ring is a 1.01 carat oval brilliant diamond.  Surrounding it are 14 round brilliant diamonds in alternating sizes…  the unique alignment of these stones creates an elongated elegant flair that has captivated me.

Just look at the impact of the ring on the hand – it really makes quite an impression!  And it is accompanied by a matching diamond band.  Smart styling allows for the pair to sit perfectly snug without any contouring.  For me, that’s an important point…  the wedding band can be worn by itself.  On the weekends, I simplify my look by just wearing my band – a convenience that I love!

This exceptional set is crafted from 14 karat white gold and features a total diamond weight of 1.77 carats!  Available on our site or in our showroom for just $7650.00 – it’s a must-have!

Go Green

Joden Girl

Baubles, Bling, and Emerald Rings

Wednesday was my birthday – the 31st of May…  making emerald my birthstone.  It’s rare that I find a piece of emerald jewelry that appeals to me, and when I do – the price usually exceeds my comfort zone.

To be considered fine quality, these gems must exemplify two attributes – an intense green hue that can only be described as “emerald green” and a high degree of transparency.  Stones like this are rare.  And usually quite expensive.  So, when I saw this little beauty – I was pleasantly surprised.  I love the whimsical flower design (of course!) – AND it’s affordable.

White gold, natural pear-shaped emeralds, and tiny diamond accents combine perfectly to create this five-petal blossom.  For me, it’s a right hand ring… I love the way it looks on a middle finger!  You will, too.  Go to our site and check it out.

If you’re looking for a classic style, these two pieces are ideal.  Both rings feature delicate diamond halos encircling round emeralds – traditional elegance with a bright pop of color.  Choose one for your right hand, or your left…  you can’t go wrong!
