What’s New – Volume 48

Joden Girl

Baubles, Bling and the Latest Things

Fall trends are leaning strongly toward yellow gold and all things purple.  Not lavender or periwinkle.  Not washed-out versions of iris or orchid.  But rather the rich saturated jewel tones of amethyst.  Perhaps it’s because fall is here and Halloween is just around the corner.  The shades of the season are cleverly marked by bold pumpkin orange, a ghastly green for witch’s skin and the purplish pigment of the night sky.

Add a pop of purple to your fall fashion with this lovely Victorian necklace.  Made from 10-karat yellow gold, the openwork design is so striking.  Not one, but two natural amethyst gems are showcased to perfection… a cushion shape marks the center while a rounded teardrop hangs from the bottom.

Nestled deep within the golden swirls and leafy design, the necklace is further enhanced by twenty-six creamy white seed pearls.  This pendant slides on a dainty sixteen-inch 10-karat yellow gold curb link chain.  This authentic antique charmer is priced at just $875.00 and is available in store or online.

You Can’t Go Wrong With Earrings

Joden Girl

Baubles, Bling and Curious Things

On a list of the seven most popular types of jewelry, three of the spots cite earrings…  hoops, studs and of course, statement earrings.  More and more lately it seems like the answer to so many jewelry questions is earrings.  Need a birthday gift for your best friend?  Earrings.  Want to buy yourself a little something?  Earrings.  What’s your go-to holiday accessory?  Earrings.  Extremely versatile and so much fun.  You don’t need to know a finger size.  You don’t have to worry about the length of a necklace or bracelet.  Earrings are always a perfect fit.

These beauties are a prime example.  Made entirely of 18-karat yellow gold, they give off a decidedly floral or four-leaf clover vibe.  Utterly botanical, they’re absolute perfection on the ear.

Each one features four heart-shaped petals (or leaves); three are made from opaque white chalcedony.  The fourth one is unique – it’s pavé set with twenty-six round brilliant diamonds.  In addition, the center of each earring is set with yet another round diamond that is secured with four prongs.  There are fifty-eight diamonds in all with a total weight of approximately .68 carat.

The omega-style back folds over the post to keep the earring properly positioned on the lobe.  They pair flawlessly with anything and everything.  Measuring just under an inch from tip to tip, they’re the ideal size…  not too big and not too small.  These statement earrings won’t break the bank either – moderately priced at $1,175.00, they’re the newest addition to our estate department.  Stop by and check them out today or hop on over to our website for more details.

Pick of the Week – Volume 54

Joden Girl

Baubles and Bling with Unbelievable Pricing

I saw a little frog, he was cuter than can be,

He was sitting on a log and I’m sure he croaked at me!

Can’t you just hear this little friend trilling a joyful song?  Perfectly perched on the finger, this charming ring from Effy has us all croaked up.  Measuring just shy of an inch from the tip of his mouth to the heel of his tiny webbed foot, he’s bright green with black stripes on his sides.  This unique coloring resembles the poison dart frog – but this fella is simply too cute to be dangerous.

Creating his colorful skin are forty-four tsavorite green garnets, while the stripes consist of thirty-seven black sapphires.  Together, these eighty-one gemstones provide 1.45 carats of sparkle.  Each leg is further enhanced with diamond trim…  there are eighteen round stones that have a combined weight of .37 carat.

Made entirely of 14-karat yellow gold, this cutie is three-dimensional with every amphibian detail…  sixteen tiny toes, large bulging eyes and that kelly green hue.  Crouched low and leaning left, this frog is so lifelike, he practically leaps off the finger!

He’s part of the Safari Collection by famed designer Effy.  Founded in 1979 by Effy Hematian; he has been living, designing and creating unique and playful jewelry in the United States for more than four decades.  His works are innovative and bold.  This charming ring is still available on the Effy site.  Their price for a brand new guy is $2247.50.

Ours joined the estate department a few months ago and we’ve had him featured on our site for $1800.00.  Now, as a highlighted Pick of the Week – we are offering him at a new and unbelievable price.  The ring is currently a size 4.5 (can be sized up or down) and is now ready to go home with you for just $1,525.00!  Don’t hop by this amazing deal…  make him yours today.
