Hot or Not – Volume 29

Joden Girl

Baubles, Bling and Curious Things

Every art form solidifies the concept that beauty is subjective.  Depending upon individual preferences, emotions and experiences… what one finds ordinary, another will deem it extraordinary.  As cliché as it sounds, beauty IS in the eye of the beholder.  This edition of the blog was born from that very thing.

I am absolutely enchanted by these earrings – totally head-over-heels for them.  Everything about them appeals to me.  Exquisitely-shaped, these four-petaled flowers are made entirely of 18-karat yellow gold.  Artfully sculpted, the edges and tips of the petals feature a lovely beaded texture that whispers quality and elegance.

Glowing from within those beaded golden borders, is the most delicious cobalt blue enamel.  This vivid hue is absolutely electric and I can only describe it as crushed blueberries.  Nestled deep between the four petals is a cluster of round brilliant diamonds… six in each earring.  Adding brilliance, these sparklers complete the look.  Priced at $2,960.00 – there’s no doubt that I love them.

But as I said – beauty is subjective.  The very thing that makes my heart go pitter-patter may very well make you say “Absolutely not!”  And so… I have to ask.  Are these earrings hot?  Or not?

What’s New – Volume 63

Joden Girl

Baubles, Bling and the Latest Things

This week’s find is perfectly petite and oh-so-sweet!  In near mint condition, these Victorian beauties are ideal for daily wear.  Made entirely from 9-karat yellow gold, a contoured wire travels through the earlobe and closes snugly in a c-shaped catch.

A four-petaled blossom embellishes each golden wire.  It is intricately detailed, including a ribbed leaf situated between each petal.  Ensconced within a small milgrain-edged bezel, a creamy seed pearl marks the center of the floret.

A tiny round bead dangles from the base of the earring, adding an element of motion.  These authentic antique earrings are absolutely charming.  Ideal for any age, these pierced earrings are priced at just $400.00.  Finds like this are few and far between and simply too good to miss.  If you’re as enchanted as we are, pick up the phone and make them yours today…  I promise you; we won’t have them tomorrow.

You Can’t Go Wrong With Earrings

Joden Girl

Baubles, Bling and Curious Things

On a list of the seven most popular types of jewelry, three of the spots cite earrings…  hoops, studs and of course, statement earrings.  More and more lately it seems like the answer to so many jewelry questions is earrings.  Need a birthday gift for your best friend?  Earrings.  Want to buy yourself a little something?  Earrings.  What’s your go-to holiday accessory?  Earrings.  Extremely versatile and so much fun.  You don’t need to know a finger size.  You don’t have to worry about the length of a necklace or bracelet.  Earrings are always a perfect fit.

These beauties are a prime example.  Made entirely of 18-karat yellow gold, they give off a decidedly floral or four-leaf clover vibe.  Utterly botanical, they’re absolute perfection on the ear.

Each one features four heart-shaped petals (or leaves); three are made from opaque white chalcedony.  The fourth one is unique – it’s pavé set with twenty-six round brilliant diamonds.  In addition, the center of each earring is set with yet another round diamond that is secured with four prongs.  There are fifty-eight diamonds in all with a total weight of approximately .68 carat.

The omega-style back folds over the post to keep the earring properly positioned on the lobe.  They pair flawlessly with anything and everything.  Measuring just under an inch from tip to tip, they’re the ideal size…  not too big and not too small.  These statement earrings won’t break the bank either – moderately priced at $1,175.00, they’re the newest addition to our estate department.  Stop by and check them out today or hop on over to our website for more details.
