Holding a deep reddish-brown cabochon garnet in the center, the piece is simply too sweet. The garnet is bezel set in 14-karat yellow gold. Delicate carved details accent the thin edge of the bezel. Tiny wires come from the back of this piece each holding a small round pearl. These eighteen creamy colored natural pearls extend at different lengths creating a scattered halo. Engraved on the back of this pendant is “L.V.A.F. to Joan 1942”. The pendant measures 7/8 of an inch long and 3/4 of an inch wide at the widest point. The cable link chain that accompanies this piece measures 16 inched in length.
