What’s New – Volume 44

Joden Girl

Baubles, Bling and the Latest Things

For years, a myth has been circulating about an engagement ring budget…  it states that three months salary is the standard.  Just throw that right out the window.  No one should spend more on a ring than they can afford – there are countless ways to find the perfect ring without breaking the bank.

While the engagement case at Joden boasts over one hundred different rings in a VERY broad price range – we also have some amazing buys in our antique and estate department.  There are delicate filigree beauties and baguette trimmed numbers with a 1950’s vibe.  There are Victorian solitaires and sapphire gems that are sure to knock your socks off.  Any and all of these have merit on every level – but today, we’re focusing on just one.

This 14-karat yellow and rose gold set is absolutely charming.  I’m always a sucker for a flower ring and this one had me from the beginning.  A pair of five-petaled flowers flank the center stone.  The blossom itself is crafted from rose gold while the stems and leaves are yellow.  The middle of each is marked by a single-cut diamond.  A third matching flower accents the fitted shadow band.

The three single-cut diamonds have a combined weight of .05 carat.  Set between the flowers is one round brilliant diamond secured with four prongs.  This diamond weighs .30 carat.  With a near colorless grade of G and a clarity grade of SI1, it’s a real sparkler.  The two rings nestle perfectly together and are priced at just $980.00 – proof positive that a perfect engagement ring doesn’t have to cost three months salary.  It will be added to our site soon, but if you simply cannot wait…  stop by the store and check it out!
