Joden Girl
Baubles, Bling and A Collector’s Things
There can be no higher accolade for a piece of jewelry than having been chosen as the front cover of our brochure. Our latest piece of printed marketing, produced earlier this year, was a years long process. In our fifty-five-year history, Joden Jewelers has created seven different brochures, each one a miniature masterpiece. Formatted as a tri-fold structure, it offers eight individual pages including the cover. Most pages are resplendent with full-color, UV-coated, professionally photographed art jewelry. There is only one page that is reserved for a singular specimen… the front cover.

The search for the perfect cover piece is never-ending. Even now, just months after the release of our latest brochure, the search continues for the next starlet. The chosen piece, unlike any other, will serve as the siren’s song for Joden Jewelers. It speaks with no words, beckoning to jewelry lovers, collectors, dealers and novices alike. Without it, there is no brochure.

We still do business the old-fashioned way. Each receipt is written by hand; when the phone rings, a real person answers. Though there are countless programs available to aid in the production of marketing material, there really is no substitute for paper and glue. This is not the “cut and paste” process done on a computer screen, but rather the scissors and paper variety. The front-cover contenders are carefully placed on a hand-cut piece of black construction paper; over and over, contemplating and eliminating until only one remains… our latest cover girl.

Made from the deep golden tones of high karat gold, this Victorian micro-mosaic suite is the stuff that dreams are made of. Expertly crafted in the late 1800’s, this two-piece parure features the fine art of inlay. Thousands of tiny pieces of ceramic (called tesserae) have been meticulously arranged like pieces of a puzzle to reveal the picture. A symbol of peace, love and fidelity, the doves captured in this intricate image remain one of the most collectible themes represented in souvenirs from The Grand Tour.
The urn-shaped pendant and earrings suite are on display in our showroom. This is beauty you have to see in person to appreciate… run your finger across the surface, feeling the slight variances in each ceramic tile. Admire the matte gold finish, each perfectly rounded link in the chain and the kaleidoscope of color that still shines after 150 years. Perhaps you’re wondering if this mint condition, symbolically-driven and highly collectible two-piece pairing could possibly be available for purchase. Indeed, it is. For just $25,000.00, this cover girl can be yours.
