Victorian Mourning Ring With Banded Agate

A 15 karat rosy gold English ring is set with an oval banded agate. This flat topped stone is black with a thin line of white running through the center. This stone is nestled in a textured halo of vertical raised lines while a pair of black enameled flowers adorn the shoulders of the piece. The words “LLewellin died March 30th, 1874.”are hand engraved on the outside of this Victorian mourning ring. Inside the ring are the words “Martha Warriner Megler died. August 21, 1867.” Measuring a little over a size 7.5, this ring cannot be sized as it will disturb the engraving.
