Product Details

The Etruscan Revival period of the Victorian era brought rise to a historic form of goldsmithing known as granulation. This technique uses heat to form tiny beads of gold that are then soldered individually in place. This practice takes a high skill level. If the beads are too hot they pulverize into dust, too cold and they will not adhere to the piece. The suite before you features 66 of these beads with additional textured wire work using the same difficulty to solder in place. This suite is a work of art that will be treasured for another 150 years.

The suite holds 3 old mine cut diamonds that have a weight of approximately 1.25 carat total weight. These diamonds have a color grade of J-K and a clarity grade of SI(2)-I(1). This suite is made of 14 karat yellow gold and features a "C" clasp on the brooch and French ear wires on the earrings.
